The Trials and Tribulations of Lost
Tue, 04/01/2008 - 00:34
I was a late comer to Lost after missing the first season and then catching up on DVD before watching the second season. This show sends me into many types of emotional directions such as Curiosity, Hatred and Suspense. If you haven’t watched Lost before, do not start watching now, I repeat don’t attempt it. This show must be watched from the very beginning. You might be able to step in and enjoy certain aspects but you will never truly understand what is going on, not that we really understand much of what is going on.
Sometimes I truly hate this show. I want answers and I know there wouldn’t be much of a show without the questions that surround the fate of the survivors of Oceanic Flight 815 and the island they have found themselves on. If they can just answer a few questions an episode and even throw out new questions I would be a much happier person. Although sometimes there is a show that just doesn’t answer questions I really care that much about. I do enjoy drama in TV shows and movies but sometimes I can care less what is going on between the love triangle of Jack, Kate and Sawyer.
You need to have a lot of patience if you watch this show. If you are an intelligent person and you pay attention, this may very well be one of the greatest shows ever made. If you don’t have half a brain, you may not even understand what is going on. If you are intelligent, enjoy science fiction, drama and suspense this is a TV show you should definitely add to your To Do list. There is a lot to watch but you’re almost in a better position than we were because you don’t have to wait very long for the next episode or season.
